Why this journey is different / 此行不同寻常
The Chengdu Hao Panda Train is a chartered 18-carriage train, 108 passengers, two seatings in the dining car. CET has secured exclusive Singapore allocation. The train moves at night and stops at remote stations for photography by day. There are no mandatory shopping stops and no paid optional activities for the full 18 days.
成都号熊猫专列共十八节车厢，载客一百零八人，餐车分两批用餐。华运专为新加坡集结配额。列车多于夜间行进，白日停靠偏远车站方便摄影。全程十八日均无强制购物，无另收费自选项目。
Day-by-day route / 行程概览
- Day 1. Singapore Changi Terminal 1, Row 4, 13:00 meetup. Fly to Chengdu. Waldorf Astoria Chengdu. 新加坡樟宜机场第一航站楼第四排，下午一时集合。飞往成都。瓦尔道夫成都酒店。
- Day 2. Late-arrival recovery morning. Afternoon transfer to Anjing Station for the Panda Train departure ceremony: face-changing performance, gaiwan tea, panda snacks. 上午自由调整时差。午后前往安静站登车，成都号启程仪式：变脸、盖碗茶、熊猫点心。
- Day 3. On board through Lanzhou (no disembark). Cabin orientation, first dining-car seating. 列车经兰州不停站。熟悉车厢，首次进餐。
- Day 4. Turpan / 吐鲁番. Karez underground irrigation system, Flaming Mountains, lowest point at minus 150 metres. 坎儿井、火焰山，最低海拔负一百五十米。
- Day 5. Kashgar / 喀什. Old Town walking morning, Id Kah Mosque. 喀什古城晨游，艾提尕尔清真寺。
- Day 6. Kashgar continued. Baisha Lake and Karakul Lake under the Pamir Plateau. 白沙湖、喀拉库勒湖，帕米尔高原。
- Day 7. Kuqa / 库车. Tianshan Mysterious Grand Canyon, Kuqa old naan-baking quarter. 天山神秘大峡谷，库车馕城。
- Day 8. Transit day. Photography stops at remote sidings; Wu Wenxu storytelling in the salon car. 列车穿行日。偏远站点摄影；吴文绪导游沙龙车厢讲述新疆故事。
- Day 9. Yining / 伊宁. Nalati grassland, Indigo Hotel garden, InterContinental Yining. 那拉提草原，蓝靛酒店花园，伊宁洲际。
- Day 10. Sayram Lake mirror reflections at dawn. 赛里木湖晨光倒影。
- Day 11. Beitun on the rails. Northern Xinjiang temperature drop, thermal layer day. 列车经北屯。气温骤降，开始穿御寒层。
- Day 12. Hemu / 禾木. Tuva log-cabin village, first night. 禾木图瓦村，入住第一晚。
- Day 13. Hemu second night. Riverside dawn shoot, horse-cart access only. 禾木第二晚。河畔晨摄，仅马车通行。
- Day 14. Kanas / 喀纳斯. Boat ride, Fish-Watching Pavilion 1,020-step ascent. 喀纳斯湖游船，观鱼亭一千零二十级。
- Day 15. Burqin / 布尔津. Cold-water fish dinner. Re-board the Panda Train. 布尔津冷水鱼宴。重返列车。
- Day 16. Urumqi / 乌鲁木齐. Tianchi Heavenly Lake, Grand Bazaar evening. 天池，国际大巴扎夜游。
- Day 17. Return ride to Chengdu through the night. Final dining-car dinner. 列车返程过夜。告别晚宴。
- Day 18. Chengdu Airport hotel transfer, fly home to Singapore. 成都机场酒店转接，飞返新加坡。
On the train / 列车之上
Two cabin types: the standard eight square metres, and the ten square metres with sofa that folds to a baby bed. Ten-square cabins offer either a 1.5 metre queen or twin 0.75 metre beds. Every cabin carries Dyson hairdryer, kettle, complimentary Evian, and a snack and drink minibar that restocks on consumption. The dining car seats 54, so the full complement of 108 guests dines in two seatings, around 17:30 and 18:45, pre-assigned for the journey.
车厢两种：八平方米标准间，十平方米含沙发可折成婴儿床。十平米可选一点五米大床或双零点七五米单人床。每间客房配备戴森吹风机、煮水壶、依云矿泉水、补给制零食饮料吧。餐车设五十四席，全员一百零八人分两轮用餐，约下午五时半与六时四十五分，全程席位固定。

What to bring / 行装要点
- Thermal underwear for Northern Xinjiang nights. 北疆夜间需保暖内衣。
- Southern Xinjiang reaches 31 to 32 degrees at noon; sunscreen and a wide brim hat. 南疆正午高温三十一至三十二度，请备防晒与宽边帽。
- Camera with a long lens for grasslands and Kanas. 长焦镜头拍摄草原与喀纳斯。
- Yengisar knives are prohibited on the train and the flight, do not purchase. 英吉沙小刀禁止上车与登机，请勿购买。
