Fly via Beijing to Urumqi, gateway to the Silk Road. On late arrival, transfer to your hotel.
经北京飞抵丝路门户乌鲁木齐。深夜抵达后入住酒店休息。
Drive the eastern Junggar Basin to Jimsar. Visit the Beiting Ancient City Ruins Museum, then Xiaofenzi Painters’ Village, an artists’ haven of terraced fields on the Tianshan foothills.
沿准噶尔盆地东缘至吉木萨尔。游【北庭故城遗址博物馆】，再访【小分子画家村】，天山脚下梯田起伏的艺术村落。
Enter Jiangbulake (incl. ticket and shuttle), Eastern Xinjiang’s Little Switzerland. Cycle the world-record 290m Tianshan Mystery Slope, roam the Tianshan Wheat Sea and the Grand Canyon viewing decks. Stay in a scenic-area lodge.

Visit Gaojia Lake Wetland, where lakes lie within farmland mirroring snowy Bogda Peak, then Balikun Ancient City, the best-preserved military city of the Western Regions. Evening night tour of Aletun Old Street in Hami.

Visit the Hami Museum and the Hami King Mausoleum (the Golden Tomb), then the Yardan Devil City, foremost of China’s four. Stay at Hongliutan, the only star hotel in Dahaidao, with a special night stargazing experience.

Cross the legendary Dahaidao no-man’s-land by SUV (3 guests per vehicle, window seats guaranteed), an Earth-Mars wilderness. Arrive Shanshan for the Kumtag Desert (incl. ticket and tram), one of China’s eight great deserts.

Visit Tuyugou Valley and its Mazha Village, the oldest Uyghur village in Xinjiang at over 1,700 years, a living fossil of folk culture. Via Turpan, return to Urumqi past China’s largest wind-power base.
游【吐峪沟】及麻扎村，新疆最古老的维吾尔村落（一千七百余年），”民俗文化活化石”。经吐鲁番返回乌鲁木齐，途览中国最大风电基地。
Drive the S101 National Defense Highway, the Aerial China filming route silent for 50 years — Gobi, Danxia, snow peaks and alpine meadows in succession. Stop at the Asian Geographic Center, the Hundred-Mile Danxia corridor and Kensiwate Reservoir.

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight home via Beijing.
